The Pumping House Quarters

There’s so much to do and a really wide range of budget-friendly options in the city, so it could make for a really great weekend base. Please just be aware that a return taxi to/from Nottingham could cost around £100.

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at The Pumping House, Brake Lane, Ollerton NG22 9HQ.

Directions
- From M1 Junction 30, follow A619 to Worksop then A57 Worksop towards A1, then A614 Nottingham/Ollerton
- From A1 North-bound, exit signposted A614 Nottingham/Ollerton and A57 Worksop.
- From A1 South-bound, Apley Head exit signposted A614 Nottingham/Ollerton and A57 Worksop.
From the A614, turn left toward Walesby, over the bridge and turn right on the bend. The Pumping House is located on your left hand-side.
Parking
There is plentiful, on-site, free parking at the venue.
Cars can be left overnight but will need to be collected by 11am in the morning.
Due to the rural location, we recommend taxis are booked well in advance. Local to the venue, the following firms all operate in the wider North Nottinghamshire area:

Dress Code
You’ll look lovely in whatever you wear so just a few pointers here:
- Please wear your best smile;
- Try not to upstage the flower girls;
- Hats are completely optional, but we feel particularly enthusiastic about sparkles.
Drinks
Wine, beer, (pink!) prosecco and a range of non-alcoholic drinks will be on tap all day and evening long.
A full cash bar will also be available in the evening, serving a wide range of liquors and other alcoholic drinks.
Food
We've gone for a 'no such thing as full' approach to the catering. Have a good lunch before you arrive, and there will be plenty to keep you going for the rest of the day.
The menu will include meat dishes, so please let us know on your RSVP if you’re a veggie or have any other dietary requirements – our caterers will be more than happy to make something lovely just for you.
